Product Review: Twistos

I received this sample bag of Twistos in my Sample Source sample box the other day

These come in three different flavours: Parmesan and Garlic, Bruschetta, and Asiago. I received the Asiago flavoured sample.

The packaging on these is clean and simple but the image of the product looked a little ... odd? I really wasn't sure what to expect when I opened the bag to taste one. However, since I did get them for free I popped the first one into my mouth and then the next one, and the next ... and before I knew it, the bag was empty and I was wishing that they had sent me a larger bag.

These are perfect. They are crunchier than a cracker but not as soft as a potato chip. The closest thing I could use to describe the texture of these is exactly how I described them to my boyfriend when I mentioned that I had received a free trial bag, "The best way to describe these would be to say that they are like a thinner, oval shaped crouton." The flavouring is not overpowering yet not muted either and unlike potato chips, they don't leave your hands feeling greasy after eating them.

These baked snacks are 100 Calories per 20g (seriously, there is NO WAY I could only eat 20g of these if I had a bag!) and make a great alternative to chips for your snacking needs.

I definitely want to try the Parmesan and Garlic and Bruschetta flavours now! I can't wait for my local store to stock these so I can buy a bag (or 5) and I may even share some with my kids.

** I have not been compensated in any way, other than a free trial of the product for this post. This review is my honest opinion of the product and yours may vary depending on your personal tastes. **
